Project Annie, Inc. mission is to enrich both the lives of members of the Greater Frenchtown community in need, and the lives of the volunteers who participate in our programs.
**Annie M. Johnson, Executive Director**
Project Annie, Inc. is governed by a Board of Directors and an active community advisory council. The Board of Directors recognizes that diversity is the process of attributing value to each individual
Project Annie, Inc. is a volunteer-driven diverse service agency. Our goal is to offer opportunities for volunteers from all backgrounds.
The Board of Directors has historically worked as a unit and handled all of the oversight and internal fiscal controls as a committee.
Project Annie, Inc. has been very present in the Greater Frenchtown area since the late 1990's. Project Annie is a staple and mentor to the neighborhood as well as a beacon of hope to those in need. The people we serves look forward to visiting the organization as well as receiving a hand up. Many people who have received help are giving back by volunteering their time at the facility.
Project Annie, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 charity organization that provides food services to families, children, seniors, and persons with disabilities. The population is largely low-income and economically displaced. We provide supportive services that allow our target population to meet one of their most fundamental needs which is food.
Annie M. Johnson, Executive Director started Project Annie, Inc. in 1998 as a community resource. At the right young age of 88, she shows no sign of letting up or slowing down. She has big plans for the organization that involves additional resources pertaining to life skills. First Baptist Church, Tallahassee, FL has agreed to assist Project Annie, Inc. toward remodeling the upstairs of the building. This will play an integral role in helping make all Ms. Annie's dreams come true.
