Happy Holidays
Project Annie, Inc. is a partner agency and they are a referral to us. Through this collaboration, we are able to publicize our pantry and when hot meals are served. In addition, we are also able to order food at a reduce cost as well as receive free market items such as fresh bread. Things have changed since COVID.
Project Annie, Inc. coordinates with the 211 of the Big Bend to list hours of operation when the pantry is opened and when hot meals are served. 211 of the Big Bend is also a community resource for those in need of paying electric bills, rent, etc. Or just to have a friendly counselor to talk to.
Through collaborations with Lutheran Social Services of North Florida which is located across the street from Project Annie, Inc, we are able to use a portion of their property when there is an outside event. Children are on site playing games and community residents participate in our programs.
Project Annie, Inc. collaborates with E3 Church to receive food, monetary donations, repair projects and recruit volunteers.
We refer needy individuals to the Apalachee Center at Bethel for outpatient services, which include case management and psychiatry assistance. These services are provided through Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) and the Homeless Project.
On the 2nd Saturday of each month volunteers from the church cook and serve hot meals at Project Annie, Inc.
The Leon Fruit and Nut Exchange is an Urban Gleaning Program Moving Food forward to those in Need across Florida's Panhandle.
